The Windham Restaurant occupies an old house built around 1812 by The Dinsmore Family, and it was their home for many years.

According to staff and investigators from the New England Ghost Project, the building is haunted.

Female staff have reported their hair being played with and items of jewellery unclasped by unseen hands. Furniture and objects would be moved. Cold spots are felt in various plcaes in the premises. Visual phenomena include the apparitions of a little boy was seen at the second floor wait station, a girl was walking in the restaurant and a man seen falling down the stairs.

Having visited this charming colonial inn, we may not have experienced anything unusual but we can vouch for the high standard of food (Steak Tips are highly recommended).
